
Juliana Pires, NCTMB
Juliana is a native of Brazil and has been living in Massachusetts since 1999. She has a Bachelor Degree of Science of Law and is certified by Boston University as a Medical Interpreter of Portuguese-English. She received her certification as a Massage Therapist from the Palmer Institute of Massage and Bodywork in Salem, Massachusetts. She is Nationally Certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals .
Her methods of bodywork are Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage, Hot Stone Therapy, Reflexology and Myofascial Sport Bodywork.
It is Juliana's goals to help her clients to reduce or rid of chronic pain resulted from poor posture, stress or injury. Juliana loves working with clients who understand the real benefits of massage. She is happiest when they leave her practice feeling balanced and relaxed, with a new sense of possibility.
Todd Franek, NCTMB
Todd grew up in Connecticut before recently making a move to Boston in early 2011. In 2006, he earned his license to practice Massage Therapy through Brandford Hall Career Institute in Southington, Connecticut. He became Nationally Certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and completed specialized training in Myofascial Release technique under Howard Rontal. Todd specializes in Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Therapy.
Todd became aware that bodywork was his calling at a very early age. With a deep-rooted interest in mind/body connection and Eastern studies, he was naturally guided to the field of Massage Therapy. His love and passion for his work is manifested in the many success stories of his clients. Todd adapts his unique style into a well-balanced blend of intuition and structural functionality. His holistic approach is focused on the release of pain, tension and stress while aiding in body alignment and overal well-being.
Apart from massage, his interests include Yoga, Qigong, and creating music.
Kate Aleinikava, LMT
Kate is from Minsk, Belarus and has been living in the New England area since 2004. In Minsk, she received degrees in Business and Law, however was never satisfied with the oportunities in these fields. Looking to begin a career that would allow for greater personal satisfaction, Kate completed the professional massage therapy program at Cortiva Institute in Boston. She specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue and Facial massage. Kate is a very outgoing person who enjoys working with clients to create individual treatment plans that allow them to achieve their goals.
Doug McKeown, LMT
Doug left Worcester, MA for Boston in 2009 and has been living in the area ever since. Previously, he briefly studied psychology before choosing massage therapy as his career. He attended Salter College in '07, walking away with a license and proficiencies in Swedish massage, deep tissue & trigger point therapies, and myofascial release.
He can occasionally be found backstage at conventions in Boston, Seattle, and other cities, making sure volunteer workers take care of themselves and helping relieve whatever muscular ache has befallen them.
Tricia Paton, LMT
Tricia is originally from Quincy, but has lived in Rhode Island, and Germany. After raising two daughters, she attended Lincoln Technical Institute in Brockton where she became licensed to be a Massage Therapist. Tricia's bodywork modalities included but are not limited to Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Therapy. It is Tricia's goals to customize each treatment to meet her client's unique needs.
Beth Baker, LMT, LPN, CH
Beth’s personal, professional, and educational goals include providing supportive environments with a client based focus on improving health and wellness services. By way of more than 25 years experience in nursing Beth has developed strong consumer centered service and assessment skills to assist clients toward their wellness goals.
Through years of experience, Beth became passionate for the benefits of touch based therapies to assist patients and their families through the many stages of life including times of ill health, recovery from surgery and the dying process.
Accomplishing her long time goal to become a massage practitioner in 2006 Beth earned a license in massage therapy in 2007 and is an active member of ABMP, Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. Continuing to peruse the study of complimentary wellness modalities Beth also earned certification as a Reiki 2 practitioner in 2007 and in 2008 trained with The National Guild of Hypnotists earning the title Certified Hypnotist and is currently a member in good standing with the NGH.
Appreciative of the supportive benefits of relieving stress and promoting relaxation on wellbeing Beth welcomes the opportunity to assist clients by exploring ways to wellness by offering Swedish, deeper tissue, hand & foot massages, Reiki, creative imagery, and meditation.
